Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the owners of camels and the owners of sheep boasted to one another in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pride and arrogance are found among the owners of camels, and tranquility and dignity among the owners of sheep." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "When Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) was sent as a prophet, he used to graze his family's sheep, and when I was sent, I too used to graze my family's sheep at a place called Jiyad."
Imam Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, al-Hajjaj bin Artat, who is a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain).
