Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Attributing a lie to me is not like attributing a lie to anyone else. Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, let him prepare to take his particular seat in Hell."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded this narration. Both of them recorded this narration from Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) with two chains, and the narrators of one of them have been declared trustworthy.
