Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6111

Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him) did not come to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). (When he came,) the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: What held you back? He replied: We do not enter a house in which there is a dog.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
