وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأَصَبْنَا جَرَادًا فَأَكَلْنَاهُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We took part in a military expedition with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). We came upon locusts, and we ate them.
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains Jabir al-Ju'fi, whom the majority declared da'if (weak).
