بَابُ رَحْمَةِ الْبَهَائِمِ لِذَبْحِهَا .

وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : " مَنْ رَحِمَ وَلَوْ ذَبِيحَةَ عُصْفُورٍ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

In one narration the words are: "Whoever shows mercy, even if it is to a sparrow being slaughtered, Allah Almighty will show mercy to him on the Day of Resurrection."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
