عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " دَمُ عَفْرَاءَ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ دَمِ سَوْدَاوَيْنِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو ثُفَالٍ قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ : فِيهِ نَظَرٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The blood (that is, the sacrifice) of an off-white (animal) is more beloved to Allah Almighty than the blood (that is, the sacrifice) of two black animals."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Thifal, about whom Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: there is room for reservation about him (fihi nazar).
