Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5932

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are no days greater in the sight of Allah Almighty than (the days of the first ten of Dhu al-Hijjah), and no deed is more beloved to Allah Almighty than deeds done in the days of the (first) ten (of Dhu al-Hijjah). So during these days, say 'Subhan Allah' abundantly, say 'La ilaha illa Allah', say 'Al-hamdu lillah', and say 'Allahu Akbar'." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: This narration is reported in "the Sahih" in abridged form, without the mention of the tasbih and the like.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
