Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5906

Malik bin Hamzah bin Abi Usayd al-Sa'idi al-Khazraji narrates from his father, from his grandfather Sayyiduna Abu Usayd (may Allah be pleased with him): He had a well in Madinah called Bi'r Buda'ah, into which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had put his saliva, and they used to give glad tidings by it and seek blessing through it.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: This narration will come in full in the chapter on Tafsir, in the Tafsir of Surah al-Baqarah, if Allah wills.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
