عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " [ رَأَيْتُ ] كَأَنَّ رَحْمَةً وَقَعَتْ بَيْنَ بَنِي سَالِمٍ وَبَنِي بَيَاضَةَ " ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَفَنَنْقُلُ إِلَى مَوْضِعِهَا ؟ قَالَ : " لَا ، وَلَكِنِ اقْبُرُوا فِيهَا " ، فَقَبَرُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاهُمْ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ كَثِيرٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ كَثِيرٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .
Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Khaythamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw as though mercy had descended between Banu Salim and Banu Bayadah." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall we move to that place?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No! Make a graveyard there (or: bury people there)." So the people began burying their dead there.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ya'qub bin Muhammad al-Zuhri, about whom much has been said, although he has been declared trustworthy.
