Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5825

Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Khallad (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Whoever wrongs the people of Madinah and makes them afraid, then make him afraid! Upon such a person will be the curse of Allah Almighty, of the angels and of all mankind, and no obligatory or voluntary worship of that person will be accepted." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The Shaykh, in the book "al-Atraf", attributed this narration to Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him), but in Sunan al-Nasa'i
I have not seen this narration; it may be that it is in al-Sunan al-Kubra of al-Nasa'i.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
