بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أَخَافَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ وَأَرَادَهُمْ بِسُوءٍ .

وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ ظَلَمَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ ، وَأَخَافَهُمْ فَأَخِفْهُ ، وَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ، لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Whoever wrongs the people of Madinah and frightens them, then make him afraid! Upon such a person will be the curse of Allah, of the angels and of all mankind; no obligatory or voluntary worship of his will be accepted."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
