عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ شَمَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَسْمَعُونَ وَيُسْمَعُ مِنْكُمْ ، وَيُسْمَعُ مِمَّنْ يَسْمَعُ مِنْكُمْ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يَكُونُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ قَوْمٌ يَشْهَدُونَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْتَشْهَدُوا " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ .
Sayyiduna Thabit bin Qays bin Shammas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You hear (matters of knowledge from me), and it will be heard from you, and it will be heard from those who heard from you." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After that there will come people who will give testimony before they are asked to testify."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. The narrator Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla did not hear from Sayyiduna Thabit bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him).
