وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كُلُّ أَهْلِكَ قَدْ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ غَيْرِي ؟ فَقَالَ : " أَرْسِلِي إِلَى شَيْبَةَ فَيَفْتَحَ لَكِ الْبَابَ " ، فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ شَيْبَةُ : مَا اسْتَطَعْنَا فَتْحَهُ فِي جَاهِلِيَّةٍ ، وَلَا إِسْلَامٍ بِلَيْلٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَلِّ فِي الْحُجْرَةِ ، فَإِنَّ قَوْمَكِ اسْتَقْصَرُوا عَلَى بِنَاءِ الْبَيْتِ حِينَ بَنَوْهُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ أَبْسَطَ مِنْهُ ، وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ اخْتَلَطَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ أَبْسَطَ مِنْهُ ، وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ اخْتَلَطَ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that she said: "O Messenger of Allah! All of your family have entered the House of Allah except me." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Send word to Shaybah, and he will open the door for you." Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) sent word to him, and Sayyiduna Shaybah (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: "Neither in the Jahiliyyah nor in Islam have we been able to open it at night." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pray in the Hatim, for when your people built it, they fell short in the construction of the Ka'bah (and the Hatim is part of the Ka'bah)."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat in more detail. Its chain contains Ata' bin al-Sa'ib, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but suffered from ikhtilat (confusion in his later years).
