Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 573

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Four things are never satisfied with four things: the eye with looking, the earth with rain, the female with the male, and the scholar with knowledge (they are never satisfied)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Abd al-Salam bin Abd al-Quddus, who is da'if (weak) and is not to be used as evidence.
