عَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ قَالَ : جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْأَذَانَ لَنَا وَلِمَوَالِينَا ، وَالسِّقَايَةَ لِبَنِي هَاشِمٍ ، وَالْحِجَابَةَ لِبَنِي عَبْدِ الدَّارِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ هُذَيْلُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ هُذَيْلُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Mahdhurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the office of the adhan to us and to our clients (mawali), the office of providing water to the pilgrims (siqayah) to Banu Hashim, and the office of keeping the Ka'bah (hijabah) to Banu Abd al-Dar.
Ahmad and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Hudhayl bin Bilal al-Ash'ari, whom Ahmad and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), and al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) and others declared da'if (weak).
