Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 568

Sayyiduna Abu Umayyah al-Jumahi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the Hour, and he said: "It has three signs, one of which is that knowledge will be sought from the juniors." The narrator Musa says: It is said that the juniors here means the people of innovation (bid'ah).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, who is da'if (weak).
