عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : طَافَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ الْجَدْعَاءِ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ آخِذٌ بِخِطَامِهَا يَرْتَجِزُ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ ; خَلَا ذِكْرِ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ وَرَجَزِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ ; خَلَا ذِكْرِ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ وَرَجَزِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of the Farewell Hajj, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing tawaf of the House on his she-camel al-Jad'a. Abdullah bin Umm Maktum was holding its rein and reciting rajaz verses. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This report is transmitted in the "Sahih", except that it does not mention Abdullah bin Umm Maktum and his reciting rajaz.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
