Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) kiss the Black Stone and place his forehead on it; then he came again, kissed it and placed his forehead on it, and then he said: "I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) doing this."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it with two chains, one of which contains a narrator, Ja'far bin Muhammad al-Makhzumi, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but there is criticism of him. The remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih. Imam al-Bazzar
recorded this narration with a good chain.
