وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَيْفَ فَعَلْتَ فِي اسْتِلَامِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ ؟ " . قُلْتُ : كُلُّ ذَلِكَ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ اسْتَلَمْتُ وَتَرَكْتُ . فَقَالَ : " أَصَبْتَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ مُتَّصِلًا ، وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ - أَيْضًا - فِي الْكَبِيرِ مُرْسَلًا ، وَرِجَالُ الْمُرْسَلِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ وَشَيْخُ الْبَزَّارِ فِي الْمَرْفُوعِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ مُتَّصِلًا ، وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ - أَيْضًا - فِي الْكَبِيرِ مُرْسَلًا ، وَرِجَالُ الْمُرْسَلِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ وَشَيْخُ الْبَزَّارِ فِي الْمَرْفُوعِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What did you do about touching the two corners? I replied: I did it both ways; I touched them and I also left them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You did right."
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir recorded it with a muttasil (connected) chain, and Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir also recorded it as a mursal narration. The narrators of the mursal are the narrators of the Sahih. In the marfu' narration, the teacher of Imam al-Bazzar is Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Sa'id al-Anmati; I have not found anyone who has given his biography. Its remaining narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
