وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ( عَنْ جَدِّهِ ) ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا قَرَنَ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يُصَدَّ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ وَقَالَ : " إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ حَجَّةً فَعُمْرَةً " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ ، وَفِيهِ يُونُسُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا مَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ : خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يُصَدَّ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ . وَهُوَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ ، وَفِيهِ يُونُسُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا مَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ : خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يُصَدَّ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ . وَهُوَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
Amr bin Shu'ayb reports from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Hajj al-Qiran out of concern that he might be prevented from reaching the House of Allah. He said: "If it is not a Hajj, then it will be an Umrah."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and
this narration is mursal. Its chain contains a narrator, Yunus bin al-Harith, whom Ibn Hibban and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Imam Ahmad and others declared him da'if (weak). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I do not know what is meant by these words of the narration: "out of concern that he would be prevented from the House of Allah," since this concerns the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage. And Allah knows best.
