وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُنَّ يَطُفْنَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَعَلَيْهِنَّ مَلَاحِفُ حُمْرٌ ، وَلَيْسَتْ بِالْمُسْبَغَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform tawaf of the House (the Ka'bah) wearing red wraps, which were not hanging loose.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu Ma'shar, about whom there has been criticism.
