بَابُ الْخَيْرُ كَثِيرٌ ، وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِ قَلِيلٌ .
Good is abundant, but those who act upon it are few

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْخَيْرُ كَثِيرٌ ، وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِ قَلِيلٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَوَّلِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness is abundant (that is, of many kinds), and those who act upon it are few."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, al-Husayn bin Abd al-Awwal, and he is da'if (weak).
