Majma al-Zawaid 4948 — A fasting person visiting the sick and doing

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who is fasting? Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who has visited a sick person? Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who has followed a funeral? Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does all of these in a single day will enter Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Hisham bin Talq; I have not found anyone who wrote a biography of him.
