Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) reports about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he asked his Companions: Who among you is fasting today? Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I am. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who among you has visited a sick person? Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, I have. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who among you has followed a funeral? Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Who among you has fed a needy person? Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, I have. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has these four, a house will be built for him in Paradise."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and these words have dropped out of the original: "Who among you has fed a needy person?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat in abridged form. Its chain contains Isma'il bin Yahya bin Salamah, and he is da'if (weak).
