وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْعَالِمُ وَالْمُتَعَلِّمُ شَرِيكَانِ فِي الْخَيْرِ ، وَسَائِرُ النَّاسِ لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الصَّدَفِيُّ ، قَالَ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ : هَالِكٌ ، لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الصَّدَفِيُّ ، قَالَ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ : هَالِكٌ ، لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The scholar and the student are partners in good, and there is no good in all the rest of the people."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Mu'awiyah bin Yahya al-Sadafi, about whom Yahya bin Ma'in said: He is halik (ruined) and laysa bi-shay' (worthless).
