وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ : نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نُوَاصِلَ وَلَيْسَتْ بِالْعَزِيمَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from observing the continuous fast (sawm al-wisal), and this is not a binding injunction ('azimah).
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is da'if (weak).
