Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty and His angels send mercy upon those who take the pre-dawn meal (suhur)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. He said: Yahya bin Yazid al-Khawlani is alone in narrating it. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: I have not found anyone who has given his biography.
