وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَمِنَ الْمَعْرُوفِ أَنْ تَلْقَى أَخَاكَ بِوَجْهٍ طَلْقٍ ، وَأَنْ تُفْرِغَ مِنْ دَلْوِكَ فِي إِنَائِهِ " .
إِلَى هَهُنَا انْتَهَى حَدِيثُ الْإِمَامِ أَحْمَدَ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every good deed is a charity, and part of good is that you meet your brother with a cheerful face and pour water from your bucket into his vessel." The hadith as recorded by Imam Ahmad ends here.
