عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ فَيَتْرُكُ أَصْفَرَ وَلَا أَبْيَضَ إِلَّا كُوِيَ بِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ بَقِيَّةُ ، وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever dies, on whatever day he dies, and leaves behind something yellow or white (gold or silver), he will be branded with it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Baqiyyah, and he is a mudallis (one who commits tadlis).
