Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4684

Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say to us: By Allah! It would not please me that Mount Uhud, all of it, became gold for me and that I then left it as an inheritance.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and there is weakness in its chain.
