بَابُ الْحَثِّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ بِقَوْلِهِ : " اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ " وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ .

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُجَمِّرٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يُحَدِّثُ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِعَائِشَةَ : " احْتَجِبِي مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ لِاخْتِلَاطِهِ .

Abdullah bin Abd al-Rahman relates that he heard Abdullah bin Mujammir, who was from the people of Yemen, narrating this hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Shield yourself from Hell, even if it is with half a date."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Abi Maryam, and he is da'if (weak) because of his mental confusion (ikhtilat).
