بَابُ الْحَثِّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ بِقَوْلِهِ : " اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ " وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ .

وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ، اسْتَتِرِي مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ ; فَإِنَّهَا تَسُدُّ مَعَ الْجَائِعِ مَسَدَّهَا مِنَ الشَّبْعَانِ " .
رَوَاهُ كُلَّهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرَوَى الْبَزَّارُ بَعْضَهُ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو هِلَالٍ ، وَفِيهِ بَعْضُ كَلَامٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
رَوَاهُ كُلَّهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرَوَى الْبَزَّارُ بَعْضَهُ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو هِلَالٍ ، وَفِيهِ بَعْضُ كَلَامٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
In one narration the words are: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aishah! Try to protect yourself from Hell, even if only by means of half a date, for it fulfils the same need for a hungry person as it does for one who is full."
Ahmad recorded all these narrations, and al-Bazzar recorded part of it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu Hilal, concerning whom there is some criticism; otherwise he is thiqah (trustworthy).
