بَابٌ فِي الْيَدِ الْعُلْيَا وَمَنْ أَحَقُّ بِالصِّلَةِ .

وَعَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَدُ الْمُعْطِي الْعُلْيَا ، وَيَدُ الْآخِذِ السُّفْلَى إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ حَمَّادُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The hand of the giver is the upper one, and the hand of the taker is the lower one, and it will remain so until the Day of Resurrection."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Hammad bin Shu'ayb, and he is da'if (weak).
