بَابٌ فِيمَنْ لَا تَحِلُّ لَهُ الزَّكَاةُ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ ، وَلَا لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(Taking) charity is not lawful for a well-off person, nor for a strong person with sound limbs (that is, one who is not disabled)."
