وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلِيًّا عَامِلًا عَلَى الْيَمَنِ ، فَأُتِي بِرِكَازٍ ، فَأَخَذَ مِنْهُ الْخُمْسَ ، وَدَفَعَ بَقِيَّتَهُ إِلَى صَاحِبِهِ ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَعْجَبَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ رَاوٍ لَمْ يُسَمَّ .

Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) as governor of Yemen. Buried treasure (rikaz) was brought to him; he took one fifth of it and gave the remaining portion to the person concerned. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) learned of this, he was pleased with it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator who is not named.
