Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4403

Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to send Farwah bin Amr, who would estimate the yield of the date palms. When he entered a garden, he would count how many clusters were in it, then multiply them by one another (to find) what its yield would be; and he would not make a mistake in this.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abi Farwah, and he is da'if (weak).
