بَابٌ فِيمَا كَانَ دُونَ النِّصَابِ وَمَا تَجِبُ فِيهِ الزَّكَاةُ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا مَنْ بُنِيَ مَخْزُومٍ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَلَا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَلَا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a man from Banu Makhzum to collect zakah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Zakah is not due on less than five wasq (of grain), zakah is not due on fewer than five camels, and zakah is not due on less than five uqiyah (of silver)."
