بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أَدَّى الزَّكَاةَ وَقَرَى الضَّيْفَ .
One who pays zakah and honours his guest

وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لَهُ : " بَرِئَ مِنَ الشُّحِّ مَنْ أَدَّى الزَّكَاةَ ، وَقَرَى الضَّيْفَ ، وَأَعْطَى فِي النَّائِبَةِ " .
رَوَاهُمَا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
رَوَاهُمَا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
In a narration of his, the words are: "Free of miserliness is the one who pays zakah, shows hospitality to the guest, and gives in times of hardship." Al-Tabarani recorded both narrations in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Isma'il bin Mujammi', who is da'if (weak).
