عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : كَانَ يُعْطِينَا الْعَطَاءَ ثُمَّ يَأْخُذُ زَكَاتَهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا هُبَيْرَةَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .

Hubayrah bin Yarim relates about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): He used to give us our stipends and then take the zakah on them.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for the narrator Hubayrah, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
