وَعَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ : دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَخَالَتِي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهَا أَسْوِرَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَ لَنَا : " أَتُعْطِيَانِ زَكَاتَهُ ؟ " . قَالَتْ : فَقُلْنَا : لَا . قَالَ : " أَمَا تَخَافَا أَنْ يُسَوِّرَكُمَا اللَّهُ أَسْوِرَةً مِنْ نَارٍ ؟ أَدِّيَا زَكَاتَهُ " .
قُلْتُ : لِأَسْمَاءَ حَدِيثٌ رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي الْخَاتَمِ مِنْ غَيْرِ ذِكْرِ زَكَاةٍ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
قُلْتُ : لِأَسْمَاءَ حَدِيثٌ رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي الْخَاتَمِ مِنْ غَيْرِ ذِكْرِ زَكَاةٍ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: My maternal aunt and I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and my aunt was wearing gold bracelets. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked us: "Do you pay its zakah?" We said: "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you two not fear that Allah Almighty will make you wear bracelets of fire? Pay its zakah."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: There is a narration from Sayyidah Asma' (may Allah be pleased with her) which Abu Dawud recorded; it concerns the ring, and it contains no mention of zakah.
Ahmad recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
