عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ - بَقِيعِ الْغَرْقَدِ - فَقَالَ : " السَّلَامُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، وَرَحِمَ اللَّهُ الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَاحِقُونَ " . - يَعْنِي : بِكُمْ - .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ غَالِبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out to al-Baqi', that is, Baqi' al-Gharqad, and recited: "Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the dwellings of the Muslims and the believers. May Allah Almighty have mercy on those who have gone ahead. And if Allah wills, we too shall join." The narrator says: that is, join you.
