Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: Once we were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) had gone to change his clothes, intending to come and join me. We were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he said: "A cursed man is about to come before you." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: By Allah, I remained anxious and kept watching for whoever came and went, until that man came in. (The narrator relates:) He meant al-Hakam.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
