وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ لَيَسْمَعُ خَفْقَ نِعَالِهِمْ إِذَا وَلَّوْا عَنْهُ - يَعْنِي مُدْبِرِينَ - " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The deceased hears even the sound of the people's sandals as they leave him and go back."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
