بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى أَهْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ .

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ غُلَامٌ شَابٌّ يَخْدُمُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَمَرِضَ فَأَتَاهُ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ : " تَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ؟ " ، قَالَ : فَجَعَلَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : قُلْ كَمَا يَقُولُ لَكَ مُحَمَّدٌ . قَالَ : فَقَبِلَ ثُمَّ مَاتَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ [ لِأَصْحَابِهِ ] : " صَلُّوا عَلَى أَخِيكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A young man used to serve the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (he was a Jew). He fell ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to him to visit him, and asked: "Do you bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that I am the Messenger of Allah?" The narrator says: The young man began to look at his father, and his father said to him: "Say as Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is telling you." The narrator says: He recited the testimony of faith and then passed away. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his Companions: "Offer the funeral prayer for your brother."
