وَعَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَزَالُ أُمَّتِي فِي مَسْكَةٍ مِنْ دِينِهَا مَا لَمْ يَكِلُوا الْجَنَائِزَ إِلَى أَهْلِهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Wahb (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of my Ummah will remain firm on the religion as long as they do not leave funerals to the families of the deceased."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
