وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فِي الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلَاثٌ : إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ ، وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ ، وَإِذَا اؤْتُمِنَ خَانَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ، وَهُوَ مَجْهُولٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are three things in a hypocrite: when he speaks he lies, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is entrusted with something he betrays the trust."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Yusuf bin al-Khattab, and he is majhul (unknown).
