بَابٌ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَمُوتُ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ وَلَا مَحْرَمَ لَهَا فِيهِمْ .

عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ غَرَفَةَ - وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي الرَّجُلِ يَمُوتُ مَعَ النِّسَاءِ ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ تَمُوتُ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُمَا مَحْرَمٌ ; قَالَ : " يُيَمَّمَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْخَالِقِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ وَاقَدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Sinan bin Gharafah (may Allah be pleased with him), who had the honour of being a Companion, reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning a man who is among women and dies, or a woman who is among men and dies, and neither of them has a mahram present: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They are to be given dry ablution (tayammum)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Khaliq bin Yazid bin Waqid, and he is da'if (weak).
