بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَجْنُبُ ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : أُصِيبَ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَحَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ الرَّاهِبِ وَهُمَا جُنُبٌ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " رَأَيْتُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُغَسِّلُهُمَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Hanzalah bin al-Rahib (may Allah be pleased with him) were martyred in a state of major impurity (janabah). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw the angels washing the two of them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).
