بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَجْنُبُ ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ .

عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْحَوَارِيِّ - رَجُلًا مِنَ الْحَبَشَةِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - - أَتَى أَهْلَهُ ، فَلَمَّا حَضَرَتْهُ الْوَفَاةُ قَالَ : اغْسِلُونِي غَسْلَتَيْنِ : غَسْلَةً لِلْجَنَابَةِ ، وَغَسْلَةً لِلْمَوْتِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَإِسْحَاقُ لَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Ishaq bin al-Harith narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Khalid bin al-Hawari (may Allah be pleased with him), who was from Abyssinia and was a Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He had relations with his wife, and when the time of his death came, he said: "Wash me twice: one washing will be the ritual bath for major impurity (janabah), and one will be for death."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. I have not found anyone giving the biography of the narrator named Ishaq. The rest of the narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
