عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ ضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ ، وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ ، وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْقُدُّوسِ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْقُدُّوسِ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is not one of us who (at a time of calamity) strikes his cheeks, or tears his collar, or cries out as in the Jahiliyyah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Abdullah bin Abd al-Quddus; there is criticism about him, and he has also been declared trustworthy.
